Welcome to Montréal-du-Gers, the first fortified Bastide town, established in 1255, and one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. It's situated on the pilgrimage route of Santiago de Compostela coming from Le Puy GR 65 and from Vezelay GR 654.
The 4th century Gallo-Roman villa of Séviac, with its 450 m² of mosaic floors, as well as Montréal’s arcaded square, its Collegiate Church and its churches of Genens and Luzanet, which are all classified as Historical Monuments, will complete your walk.
The gently rolling landscapes dominated by the region’s vineyards (Côtes de Gascogne) allow you to easily discover our region, Armagnac-Ténarèze.
